GOT A CHALLENGING CHILD?
OR ONE LACKING SELF-ESTEEM OR RESILIENCE?
OR A GOOD CHILD FAILING TO ACHIEVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL?
WE CAN HELP!

“What if I was to tell you there was a place that you can send your child for ten days of the school holidays, where they will develop self-discipline, self-confidence and self-motivation? A camp that will develop their leadership potential and respect for others, setting them up for future challenges in life?

And what if that camp was a fun holiday adventure that would challenge and excite them? Well there is such a place.”

OUR GOAL IS TO HELP DEVELOP RESPONSIBLE, CONFIDENT YOUNG ADULTS, AND TO DEVELOP THEIR LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL.

OUR LEARNING OUTCOMES ARE:

“I have an understanding of good values and ethical behavior and a toolbox to help me make better decisions.”

We teach the importance of values such as honesty, integrity, and loyalty. Not only the meaning of the word, but how people who live by that value would behave and respond to certain situations. The goal is to have the attendee make decisions based on values rather than on desires or peer group pressure.

“I respect and value myself and am able to make judgements and decisions that will be positive and beneficial to me and those around me. I understand that I am worth those choices.”

Self confidence is feeling good about yourself and your capabilities. It means you feel good about your ability to achieve things you want to achieve.
Self confidence can impact your life for the better while lacking confidence will have a negative effect on your social relations, career, and mood.

Some of the advantages of self confidence include:

  • The more confident you are the less disappointed you will feel about being rejected. Confidence in your abilities will overpower the rejection itself.
  • The more self-confident you become the more opportunities you will encounter and be prepared to take.
  • Criticism will affect you less.
  •   You will feel less anxious because you will trust your ability to handle different situations.
  • You will be more able to feel good when you are alone.
“I use my values and self-confidence to contribute my best to a team. I respect and value the contributions of others and allow them to be their best. I understand that in most facets of my life co-operation will be key. I understand the concepts of duty and service and am able to, where appropriate, help those who cannot help themselves.”

Teamwork is vital to success in life. Whether the team is the family, the class at school, the workplace, or the sporting team, an organisation can achieve far more as a team than each individual can achieve on their own.
And the quality of your life will be governed by the quality of your relationships.

“I accept that I have responsibilities to myself, my family and my community. I acknowledge that all my actions have consequences and I can act accordingly. I also understand that others have a responsibility for me and I can accept the need for them to act in certain way.”

Life is a consequences based activity! No matter what you do or don’t do, there are consequences for your choices and you own those choices.
Blame and excuses are tools for someone who can’t take responsibility for their decisions.

“I understand that life is made of many differing challenges. I can put things into perspective and manage my reactions so that I can positively deal with situations and relationships.”

Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of adversity and trauma. It is the ability to “bounce back” from difficult experiences, and keep smiling even in the face of problems. It’s the human equivalent of a tree that bends in a strong wind without breaking, and then straightens again when the wind drops.

“I respect and value my physical and psychological well-being understanding that they are vehicles to a healthy and enjoyable life. I have learned practical ways to live in good health every day.”

Health is important to your standard of living. Developing habits such as healthy eating and regular exercise is important for young adults. And it doesn’t take a well equipped gym or lots of equipment to keep fit.

This program is all about conquering fears and building personal character. It is designed to change your child’s life for the better. They will get a unique experience that builds their self-esteem and self-confidence, instills positive values and provides adventurous activities that will challenge and excite them. It could be the most important investment you ever make in their personal development.

Our programs are conducted in SE Queensland, within an hour of Brisbane. The venue changes depending on availability. Attendees need only make their way to Brisbane airport, where they will be collected and transported to the venue. Our programs will run monthly, not just during the school holidays, but also during the school term to assist those children who are not performing to their full potential at school, or who are at risk of suspension or expulsion.
